The Cayman Government has endorsed the project as a strategic imperative of the nation.
The opportunity
Music City Cayman is a strategic value investment opportunity. The capitalization to develop the project is pursued through a Tokenized Preferred Stock subscription, under the registered name Caycoin. The tokenized subscription will be limited to 5 million Caycoin, individually priced at $100 USD. The details of the tokenization framework is available at https://caycoins.com.
The holders of the tokenized stock will be entitled to dividends from the operations of Music City Cayman. Shareholders will have specific voting rights within GTED Ltd and therefore will have a passive interest in the Company’s operations. Notwithstanding the foregoing, shareholders will carry both a dividend and liquidation right over the holders of the Company’s ordinary shares.
Development update
As of 20 September 2024:
- Total invested to date: $5.7M USD
- Feasibility studies & cost estimates for the hotel, arena, and the arena’s naming rights are completed
- The Boardwalk concession from the municipality of George Town is formalized
- Hotel branding and management agreement executed with Universal Music Group
- Sale of 10,000 Caycoin for $10M completed from private placement investor
- Sale of 12,000 Caycoin for $1.2M completed from second private placement investor
- Secured letters of intent from two separate corporate entities, each valued at $100M, for the naming rights to the arena.
- Land purchase strategy: 1) Purchase $8M worth of land from the $10M sale; 2) Purchase $12M of additional land through a Caycoin allocation; 3) Secure $40M debt financing commitment from third party; and 4) Purchase all remaining lots with the $40M.
Debt financing
The company will entertain debt financing options offered by investor groups preferring this approach.
Token sales
Tokens will be sold in two phases: private placement and public offer.
The private placement phase has commenced and targets a limited number of qualified private investors and strategic partners at a discounted rate prior to public sale. GTED has purchased a commodity wrap as insurance for these investors.
Public offer: The second phase will commence once the land has been fully bought and consolidated into the 16.2 acre lot for the project. The Caycoin Cash token (CAYCASH) will be available to the general public will be listed on multiple, qualified, cryptocurrency exchanges
The objective of the public offer is to raise the capital to build the arena, hotel, and boardwalk.

The use of funds and corresponding asset valuations will be as follows:

$80M valuation once aggregated into the single 16.2 acre lot
$160M valuation once the project is in operation.

D. Boardwalk
$85M construction budget (includes garage and cruise ship pedestrian bridge)
E. Site development and management
$25M site, civil and infrastructure works
$15M management and regulatory
